JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing and executing social media strategies for our clients. You will collaborate with our digital marketing team to develop engaging content, manage social media platforms, and monitor social media analytics. This role requires a combination of creativity, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of various social media platforms and trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness for clients.
  • Create and curate compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including images, videos, and written posts.
  • Schedule and publish social media content across various platforms using social media management tools.
  • Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Engage with the audience by fostering conversations, answering inquiries, and building relationships.
  • Conduct social media listening and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant hashtags to inform content strategies.
  • Analyse social media metrics, generate reports to track the performance of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content for social media.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an excellent grasp of grammar and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Experience using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of social media advertising and boosting posts.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating social media visuals.
  • Ability to analyse data and draw insights from social media analytics.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple social media accounts and meet deadlines.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and shareable social media content.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and platforms.
